Letter from Our President & CEO, Amy Wheeler
Dear Friends of Sunnyhill,
Reflecting on the past year, Sunnyhill has continued to flourish, meeting the needs of those we serve while remaining dedicated to our mission. Despite the challenges of the competitive labor market and the lingering effects of the pandemic, our team adapted quickly and innovatively to ensure the continuity of our programs and services.
A highlight of the year was our investment in revitalizing our properties, made possible by the commitment of Sunnyhill’s board and donations from supporters like you. A total of $600,000 was reinvested and $400,000 was donated, reflecting the hard work and dedication of our staff, volunteers, and supporters. From constructing a new fire pit at our camp to enhancing its accessibility, each success was achieved through generosity and commitment.
Our achievements would not have been possible without the support of our donors, volunteers, and partners. Your financial and in-kind contributions empower us to make a tangible difference. We are sincerely grateful for your belief in our mission and willingness to stand with us as we strive for positive change.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the opportunities that await us. Our commitment to assisting children and adults with developmental disabilities remains unwavering. We continuously seek innovative ways to enhance our programs and services. With your ongoing support, we are confident in our ability to make an even greater impact in the future.
In conclusion, I extend my deepest appreciation to each of you for your dedication to Sunnyhill. Together, we are transforming lives and building a brighter future for our community.
Warmest regards,
Amy Wheeler
